Use mentor.energy in your AI assistant

Already use Claude or ChatGPT? Connect mentor.energy once and ask it about our courses and mentors without leaving the chat.

The address you need

https://mentor.energy/api/mcp

This is a read-only connection. It can list courses, read course outlines and preview lessons, search articles and show mentors who have chosen to appear in AI assistants. It never signs you in, sees your account or books anything: you do that on mentor.energy.

Claude (web, desktop and phone)

  1. 1
Open Settings → Connectors on claude.ai or in the desktop app.
  2. 2
    Choose Add custom connector.
  3. 3
Name it mentor.energy, paste the address above and click Add. No login is needed.
  4. 4
In a chat, open the tools menu under the message box and make sure mentor.energy is switched on.

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an organisation owner adds the connector once and members switch it on. Once added on the web it also works in the Claude phone app.

Claude Code and other MCP clients

claude mcp add --transport http mentor-energy https://mentor.energy/api/mcp

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over streamable HTTP can use the same address.

Things to ask

  • “Find me a petroleum engineering mentor on mentor.energy.”
  • “What does the mentor.energy reservoir engineering course cover?”
  • “Summarise the latest mentor.energy articles on graduate trainee applications.”

Menus in AI apps change often; if a step doesn't match what you see, look for “connectors”, “integrations” or “MCP” in the settings. Prefer the built-in assistant? Mentor AI already knows your courses and goals. Mentors can turn off appearing in AI assistants in their mentor profile.
