We break down the five types of employers — the international oil companies like Chevron, Shell and TotalEnergies; indigenous independents like Seplat; the service companies; government and regulators like NNPC and NUPRC; and the adjacent industries most people forget about. You'll learn what each one actually wants and where you realistically fit.
Module 2 — Building Your Professional Brand. Roughly three out of four CVs are filtered out by software before a human ever reads them. This module shows you how to build an ATS-proof CV and a LinkedIn profile that recruiters actually find, and how to use bodies like NAPE and SPE to open doors.
Module 3 — Finding Opportunities. Up to 70–80% of energy jobs in Nigeria are never advertised. If refreshing job boards is your whole strategy, you're fighting over the scraps. We show you the hidden job market, networking that doesn't feel slimy, and how to turn NYSC into a launchpad instead of a year you survive.
Module 4 — Mastering the Interview. Qualified people fail interviews every day because they answer like it's an exam — facts, no story. You'll learn the STAR method, how to handle technical questions by company type, Nigerian interview etiquette, and when and how to negotiate salary.
Module 5 — Your 90-Day Action Plan. Knowledge without a plan goes nowhere. You'll leave with a concrete, time-bound roadmap — Foundation, Active Search, then Interview-to-Offer — plus a simple system to track applications and keep momentum.
